Okay someone with football knowledge needs to educate me. PSU was doing some sort of read option where the qb and RB were moving forward during their mesh. The guy they were reading on our side basically did not attack either player and just stood his ground. I would think that this would be wrong and he should of attacked either the QB or RB to force the issue. Am I wrong?

PSU was running veer. The OLB was slow playing it, basically he was responsible for whoever came to the outside.
