The defense looks great. Its holding up very well against a good team. If we had any decent shooters/scorers, we would be right in this game. Glad to see us not losing by 40 on the road. Great Coaching!

You can coach effort, defense, rebounding and a solid game plan. But, unfortunately it will take new recruits to materially improve RU's shooting.

Playing solid defense can only keep Rutgers in the game for so long before the opponent goes on a run and puts the game out of reach.The lack of scorers will be the undoing of this team .Recruiting better shooters is the obvious answer but 2017-18 is the earliest it will happen.
