Best tackling and route coverage I've seen in a long time, maybe all year. Jake needs to open up the offense and give us a shot. We're not going to win this game running 80% of the time and throwing drop off's the rest.

Spot on. D is doing well enough especially if they clean up the penalties. Impossible to win though scoring ZERO points. So frustrating. We end up with a screen pass for 1 yard on 4th and 10.

I dare say I want to see Jake leave more than JON. And I really, really want to see JON go.

Our offensive line, which was already mediocre, is depleted from injuries. And we don’t have a QB. There is sadly only so much offensive scheme can do with those limitations.

Tackling may be better but approaching 400 yards before the 4th quarter isnt doing its job. I dont think the coaches are too happy but if we can keep them under 500 yards then its an improvement and something to build on. No pressure. Nothing. Hopefully the purdue qb doesnt do 400 yrds by himself and he isnt anything wow.

Yeah they actually played well for much of the first half but the breakdowns in coverage are glaring. Purdue is a good team though and a very good offense so others have been burned by them too.

Don’t we all see now it isn’t the OC?? It’s the man at the top. His 1950 s haircut and his 1950s offense have no place in major college football anymore. If he can’t change, then it’s time for NU to change.
