Defense!

Great, great win, and it was all about the defense! To hold Indiana to 48 points is mind-blowing. As long as they can play defense like that, especially on the road, we'll be in good shape. Other points:

1) End game line-up was Paul, Caleb, Derek, Mag, and Cliff. They earned coach's trust to finish out the game. I'm not ready to write off Cam just yet, but he's going to have to fight Derek for minutes.

2) Caleb was great, Cliff had some key stops on D in the last few minutes, Paul was Paul and hit some important shots, Mag play well, and Hyatt did some good things also. Even Dean had some good minutes in relief of Cliff. Obviously Derek had a great 2nd half and without his scoring and IU's horrible FT shooting, it's a nail biter at the end.

3) Hey, we're in first place with Maryland! Let's see if we can keep it up on the road against OSU.

Absolutely suffocating defense most of the game. That's always been Pike's calling card and it was there in its full glory today. And that was a good offensive team we shut down. Now let's do this on the road, which is more likely now that we're healthy.

The RAC crowd noise should get major kudos for Indiana only scoring 48 points.Indiana was averaging over 80 points a game and easily defeated North Carolina at home.
