Seems like a decent bunch over there. In this thread, they seem to have a decent assessment of RU:
For some reason, you can't sign up. I've applied a dozen times since the spring, and no response from the admin. So I read the board to get an understanding of their fans and take on their team. They are no different, with some showing respect for Rutgers while a few hardcore fans hate Rutgers. Those few live on perception.Seems like a decent bunch over there. +1 !! LOLThat message board is awesome. Looks like something out of a Windows 95 environment. Really brings back good memories
I did not see any haters, but I did not look too closely.
The general takeaway is that RU is a B1G team, but not Ohio State, Penn State or Michigan. RU is not the doormat they used to be now that Greg is back. They expect to get dominated in the trenches and are concerned about their OL versus our defense.
Fun fact- they beat Jacksonville State in the 2021 FCS playoffs, the team that upset FSU yesterday.
To be fair, if they brought anyone other than the Temple players' families, they will have brought more fans to RU Stadium than Temple did."+12 in my group. Should be a fun day"
So we know they're bringing more fans than Temple did
There were times that when RU played them ,the hens were the better team.I remember Scott Brunner giving RU more than we wanted.Fortunately Greg takes All opponents seriously.Last ranked RU team to play Delaware got beat…
Can’t take them lightly.
FSU helped us out this week by providing a whole lot of film and locker room material to keep the guys motivated. This team scares me. It would be so Rutgers to let down and get beat by an FCS team. Greg hopefully can keep them focused and not thinking about Michigan.
According to UD official site, we lead the series 15-13-3.I know they don’t get much of a turnout at their home games. I think they came down hard on the student tailgates so they don’t bother going.
Rutgers Delaware had some good games back in the 60s-70s. They actually hold the lead in the series.
I thought something was wrong with the site and it had kicked back an old ASP.net error screen. That message board is awesome. Looks like something out of a Windows 95 environment. Really brings back good memories
I tried last night and got the same result. I shot an email to the admin, we'll see if I get a response. For some reason, you can't sign up. I've applied a dozen times since the spring, and no response from the admin.

Flood was known for it only because he had the coach’s show with Carlin every week and they would harp on it. Actually, every coach I have ever dealt with, including myself, was always one game at a time. It is essentially coach speak. No reason to let down vs Delaware. Greg won’t let this team get ahead of itself.
But it is a classic trap game for us with Michigan coming up next week.
Was it Kyle Flood that said we try to go 1-0 each week?
You are the king of orthogonality in RUFB posts. Which I mean as a high compliment."Personally, I'm rooting for the Delawareans, although the Delawarites put up a good argument. Delaweenians didn't stand a chance." - Taxi Episode, "Zen and the Art of Cab Driving"
I think it was every coach of pretty much every sport ever that said they try to go 1-0 each week. But yeah, Flood said it more often than most.No reason to let down vs Delaware. Greg won’t let this team get ahead of itself.

LOL, you have a gift for the backhanded compliment! That message board is awesome. Looks like something out of a Windows 95 environment. Really brings back good memories
They need a vax card or test to go to home games so this is the big chance for all the unvaxed Delaware fans to see game. In unrelated news, there is a covid problem at Delaware. https://whyy.org/articles/covid-19-quarantine-space-running-out-for-university-of-delaware-students/"+12 in my group. Should be a fun day"

Heh-heh. My former RU roommate says I like "sideways" humor. If that's the description of comedy - as done by George Carlin, Steve Martin, Seinfeld, Monty Python, etc. - count me in!You are the king of orthogonality in RUFB posts. Which I mean as a high compliment.
I think that the last time that RU played Delaware was in 1973 and beat them at home 24-7.I played for Rutgers against Delaware in 74. They might still want revenge for that game.
DING DING DING!FSU helped us out this week by providing a whole lot of film and locker room material to keep the guys motivated.
