Stoops is saying he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't have a QB competition next year. I think that's a big mistake! Also don't say that before the bowl game because this team plays hard for SJ and don't mess up chemistry or try to fix something that's not broke please! Big mistake, SJ has earned this position!

I see nothing wrong with Stoops' statement & Smitty is mature enough to know this is always going to be the case anywhere anytime. IOW, NBD.

This is now and that is then,don't see anything wrong with saying it.The bowl game is it's own event,a reward for what this team did this year.

Spring starts the road to next season,we have many starters returning things will get sorted out in the spring and fall
