I'd take Delk all day. I lived it, and he was amazing. I don't care what stats say or don't say.

Booker really isn't on that tier yet imo. Next year maybe.

For a three point contest? Any of the three. depends on who was hot at the time they were shooting.

All are good but I have to say TD. He was fantastic and had no boundaries. Not sure if any of these guys could out shoot Louie Dampier.

Delk was an amazing player. Did a lot of other things really, really well, nit just shoot. Had amazing basketball IQ and with those arms (and with no neck) he played about 18 inches taller than he was listed, which made him a really deadly guard. He was quite consistent with his outside shooting, but the real reason the legend grew up around his shot was his range. He hardly shot any worse from half court than he shot from just outside the line.

But Lamb shot a higher percentage from 3. The only way around that is use onky Delk's senior year against Lamb's fresh & sophomore years. And even then you would have to overlook the fact that Delk's percentage was higher his senior year simply because the '96 team had too many threats for opponents to key on him. You would also have to overlook the fact that Delk's 3 point line was a foot closer in than Lamb's was. No real contest between the two as far as 3 point percentage, though Delk is still the better overall player.

Booker's pair of slumps has kind of elimated him for now. Obviously if he can come back and play a whole season as his better-shooting self he'll be a serious contender.

3. Lamb
4. Delk
5. Booker

Well who do I think is first or second? Dampier and Travis Ford were both damn good. If they were just shooting outside 3's wide open id go with Ford. Size of Ulis and he drilled 3's in guys faces several made 3's from the hash mark.

Lamb in a shootout
Delk as a player (by a long shot)

Booker - If he stays another year and has near 100 3's at 47% maybe we'll talk.

^^^^^^ That would be my question Also, what kind of contest? If it is like the NBA contest, I would take Lamb because TD really relied on his legs for his shot and would wear down. Oddly enough, if we had a Kentucky NBA like 3 point contest, the best shooter I witnessed who didn't jump and could just shoot it would be Troy McKinley.
