Here's a story where the police interrogated a man for 17 hours (including bringing in his best friend and dog to put pressure on him) and he confessed to murdering his father. The payoff... his dad was still alive.
A verdict has been reached and will be announced after courtroom proceedings.
Yep. But unfortunately, that will take years. If it even happens.
Hopefully, he doesn’t survive Big Knuckle Frank and the boys in prison.
I know somebody here that's been on death row for 27 years. Ridiculous.

I will say, Allen sure looks like Bridge Guy, but who really knows?
Who really knows, indeed. And that is the problem if due process isn't heeded -- the result is not trustworthy. I have no idea if this trial was illegitimate and I am typically fairly loathe to presume due process violations without evidence. But it certainly looks a bit odd from what has been reported.
So just because that ********** lacks the constitution to kill murderers we can't have the death penalty?
