What's the deal with Denofrio, I can't remember what he did, but I seem to remember it was sleazy. Did it have to do with recruits? Is it blown out of proportion and should his ties with Golden make us question Golden's judgement?

Something about him recruiting for Virginia when he was still working for Rutgers. He knew he was quitting to work with Golden at Virginia.

This is how I remember it. All schools use negative recruiting to some degree to convince a student to come, but I seem to remember he was suppose to be over the top. I still like the idea of plucking a new coach off of the Urban Meyer tree.

Well....he's from North Bergen. Doesn't that tell you enough ?
Oh yeah....and he played for Jerry Sandusky.

If I remember correctly, he was reaching out to his own RU targets, persuading them to join him at UVA, before he'd even told Greg that he was leaving. One of those recruits was Eugene Monroe, I believe, who was a big target of ours at the time.
