Someone said Sabin said UK did not belong in the SEC.Maybe we should hire Corso to follow these guys around from now on and tell them how terrible they are?![]()
But it's not true that "UK defense is worse in college football history".what corso said was the truth ,it's hurts but UK has got plenty chances to prove him wrong. We are laughing stock of major college football and for one week that will quiet down if we roll over next week like we did against florida and get beat by70 that kind of talk will return
Corso's claim to fame is he's a clown, has always been a clown. It's the only reason he's on Game Day.When Corso coached UofL he had a turkey on a leash lead the team out on Thanksgiving against Tulsa....... need I say more ???
No kidding. Corso was 73-85 as a college coach. Not quite Saban territory, or even Lou Holtz. So not being statistically one of the worst defenses in the NCAA isn't motivation enough to play better, it took a below average ex-football coaches comments on a tv show to motivate them?
Knew this post was coming. If Lee Corso is the most motivating factor for our defense then Stoops needs to be let go now. We have a defensive minded HC (at elast we are supposed to). Why isn't being a good defensive unit that has some pride and shows up in every game enough motivation for those scholarships. Why must we be in dire straits before the coaches can ge the players to buy in?
Game day will be at Clemson next weekCorso's claim to fame is he's a clown, has always been a clown. It's the only reason he's on Game Day.
If Game Day goes to Clemson next week he probably shouldn't show up. They've been having a problem with clowns in South Carolina lately.
I hope Corso says it again next week.
Nah, he can't remember back that far back !Next week we play at Alabama...so he will be correct if he says it again next week. Old geezzer should have waited a week.
During the time when Corso was at U of L, they were being very competitive in their conference or as an independent and Kentucky was about where they are today. Yet, Kentucky would have beat Louisville by two or three touchdowns in any year back then and it may not have been that close! When Corso coached UofL he had a turkey on a leash lead the team out on Thanksgiving against Tulsa....... need I say more ???
Says alot about our defense when it takes a tv commentaters comment to get the defense fired up...
