...is not very good. LSU beat their *** today. Glad we won that game but we really should have beaten UVA and Okie State. I hope the D and rebounding improves dramatically.
Agree. The team will be fun to watch grow over the course of the season. I think they are better than I expected coming into the season. Is there any other team in the conference with 5 Freshman? There will be some frustrating close loses where he analysis playing time etc, but I also think we need to recalibrate our expectations. If this team is dancing, the entire staff should get raises.DePaul did have a dominating win over Georgia Tech the night before. We need to dial down on our expectations for this season. This team is YOUNG and the mantra for college football and basketball these days is get old and stay old. I think we will be competitive in most Big Ten games, but I have no idea how many we will win. Doubt it will be enough to go dancing.

Beating DePaul and SC narrowly each hurt our KenPom about exactly as bad as losing to Virginia and OK St did....is not very good. LSU beat their *** today. Glad we won that game but we really should have beaten UVA and Okie State. I hope the D and rebounding improves dramatically.
He is basically playing with 4 first time starters for us. And most of the backups are new as well. As you say, all that is a lot to integrate at one timeCollins is trying to do something nearly impossible: Develop a bunch of freshmen and sophomores and at the same time integrate several transfers, figuring out who can play together on the fly. It makes sense that our defense has been such a mess. I get CC’s strategy in scheduling a bunch of tough but winnable P5 games — you try to figure out what you have and hope you have some answers by January 1.
Do you mean beating DePaul and SC helped our KenProm almost exactly as much as losing to Virginia and OK St hurt our Ken Prom?Beating DePaul and SC narrowly each hurt our KenPom about exactly as bad as losing to Virginia and OK St did.
So... Are we going to be snooty and turn down The Crown again, or are we going to use it as an opportunity to get these YOUNG players experience in a tournament setting? This team is YOUNG ... Doubt it will be enough to go dancing.
I believe all four results hurt our KenPom.Do you mean beating DePaul and SC helped our KenProm almost exactly as much as losing to Virginia and OK St hurt our Ken Prom?
The players decided not to play in the postseason. Their bodies had had enough. It has nothing to do with being snooty.So... Are we going to be snooty and turn down The Crown again, or are we going to use it as an opportunity to get these YOUNG players experience in a tournament setting?
I'll bet they would have "decided" to play in the NCAA Tournament if they had been invited. The players decided not to play in the postseason. Their bodies had had enough. It has nothing to do with being snooty.
I would think soI'll bet they would have "decided" to play in the NCAA Tournament if they had been invited.
Hopefully we’ll be snooty if invited to that joke ******** tournament any year we are invited.I'll bet they would have "decided" to play in the NCAA Tournament if they had been invited.
