I have no inside information, just going on common knowledge here. Looking at the bigger picture for next seasons squad, they really aren't losing a ton of production. The roster seems to set up nicely for supplemental transfer starters and depth.

If that is the Oline we better pray for 6 portals in there and D-line the same.

I think the center position is very undervalued especially for the gamecocks. if I'm on defense I send my guys up the middle because it's closer to the quarterback plus given the frequency that we run up the middle you're already there to make the tackle on the running back ...run blitz

I don’t think the offensive line if as far off as others do. I mean don’t get me wrong, it was bad this year. Pretty dysfunctional. With some good guidance from coaching and the ability to pick up assignments and play physically, it’s not all that tall of an order. The center position is critical. I would like to see Darius Gray take that over and be able to hold it down.

Size D tites in the front?
All under 300 lbs, which is why we should move to it. we are light and we are light at LB, so let’s clog up the middle with three DT’s force people to isolate the tackles on the edge rushers, which is where we are best, and keep interior OL off our faster Lbs and let them run and play.

I’ve liked these sort of ideas for a while. I’m not opposed to a 3-4. Stewart, Jr Johnson, Okronkwo, and Murphy sounds like a good lb unit.

We have recruited o-line talent, it’s about time it shows up on the field but yes, get a few in the portal if there is talent to get. Fill a few other portal needs and could be like the previous year.
