I only saw the first half of the game, but I have seen several of their previous championship games.

My question--is there a more successful AND creative offensive head coach in the state than Derrick? His pace of play, ability to move the ball, formations, blocking, etc. seem outstanding.

And, is he the heir apparent to his dad at SHG?

I dont think SHG could match what Derek makes in salary (combo teaching money & coaching stipend) to come close to what he makes at Rochester. I'd assume Derek is at Rochester as long as he wants to be there, which looks like it could be forever.

What about when they find 25% of his team living in one apartment and sanctions come down?

Is there actually proof to that claim? Im seriously asking.

Success in the public sector will attract move ins. Look at Maroa-Forsyth in the later half of the 2000's. Would you rather your son/daughter go to school in Decatur or Maroa?

Rochester from everything that I've heard is a tremendous community to live in. They have top notch facilities and very good athletic programs. If you're living in Springfield would you rather your son/daughter be at Lanphier? Springfield Southeast? Or would you move to Rochester if you could?

Damn, that is funny. My wife, who is from Springfield, and I were watching and I was tempted to say that something wasn't passing the sniff test with that team. I resisted to avoid the frying pan.

Mama ain't happy ain't nobody happy.

His interview after the quarterfinal game made me think he is angling for something bigger soon. Spoke about creating an environment unique to any program in the state - public or private. It was not so much braggadocio but rather, an interview statement. At least is seemed so to me.

All.... Other than the miniscule seating for the fans on the opposing team I tend to agree. Of course get there early (three hours) like I do and I get a seat on the 50. That leaves less than 250.... Ratsay
