I have a feeling Spencer is going to look great here. The more frequently he competes and the more international feels he gets the better. Bazarganov gave him a good battle at last year's rankings series tournament. Hopefully he can widen that gap. ADS vs Uguev semi is super interesting.
Glad to see Austin going, he wasn't on the list as of a couple days ago when I was trying to figure out the time zone difference. And I do think it benefits Spencer to stay active and not go so long between tournaments but he knows his health better than me. Buchanan is in RAF Saturday too.
Desanto has really progressed in freestyle. I thought he would from his college days. Big gas tank, pushed guys out continually and the fireman's carry and slide by are good offense in freestyle. He looks to be cleaning up some of those mistakes of getting turned from counters.
It’s been fun to see how frustrated the international guys are getting with Desantos relentless motor and that killer grip.
I think his chippiness is not something they are used to either from US wrestlers. We are often too sportsmanlike in respect to their antics where Austin will not be shy about expressing his displeasure when they are whining to the officials or giving back as good as he gets if are doing something borderline dirty.
Sadulaev and Snyder will both be there at 97kg. Sadulaevs first tourney in 2 years.

Interesting to see Dake at 86kg again too. Mason and Hendrickson both wrestling too at 125kg.
Dake not getting a Olympic gold is criminal. Can he go another cycle? Body is getting miles on it.
One thing we can count on is the refs giving the Europeans and Asians 30 seconds to get back to center and the dumb*ss reviews to give them breathers.

How do you find schedule and/or mat assignments? I've been all over Flo and UWW sites and all I could find was that Spencer was going to be on Mat A. no order of matches or further mat assignments.
I'm sure Austin is up again soon and don't want to miss it, but I need to start breakfast.

Lets mash these guys gentlemen. Desanto is really coming into his own, very happy for the kid with all the adversity he's faced.
Clicked on the link and saw the video clip where Dake is hawking his RAF "baseball" card series -- only 26 made! -- with his photo on the front and a "little piece of his singlet" attached. Oh dear. Surely there are better ways to make a few bucks.

Totally agree, but I gotta imagine once that engine gets going it’s hard to slow it down. He’s such a menace.
I didn’t see the Gomez thing. Hope he’s ok. Apparently lost consciousness after getting his bell rung two different times. With his history of head injuries that’s scary.
