I was in this line of work for decades. Sold my company and don’t do it anymore. Send me a message and I can get you in touch with one of the guys that used to work for me that has a small operation now and can take care of you.
Hope so.Are we still talking about plumbing?
A1 saved the day. Came through in thirty minutes, listened to me that you had to go through the washer side. Easy fix. They said the other pipe led to the roof and corrosion is what the other guy saw, not mud.I would not use Drexler.
Call a drain company such as A-1 Sewer and Drain. Have them come and look and get a camera inspection.
I used a one man operation this week to unclog my main drain line. Had the whole house stopped up. I’ll be digging up that pipe in the next few weeks.
can you avoid using that tub? Does the sink and toilet in the bathroom drain slow also?
Nope. No wonder he didn't stay but ten minutesYou are telling me Drexler didn’t know he went up a vent?
Is drexler a privately held company? I wonder if the guy was incompetent or if it's a directive from the top to try to screw and overbill desperate people.A clump of hair.![]()

Nah, they're shady. I was asking a contractor I know, about them. Advertising is how they stay in business. I wouldn't trust those guys to clean my toilet, let alone "fix" something.I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was hastily hired plumbers with little experience.
The mud was, corrosion because it went to the roof. They were just that incompetent to know where that pipe led. It's sad I googled about the washer causing the backup and it was right there. Always check the washer side first.Would have been crazy for them to justify the “mud” they found if it was really a clump of hair - that’s ridiculous.

I second this suggestion. They are good. Do not use Drexler.I have had positive experiences using these guys and they definitely use the cameras to check drains.
