It just dawned on me that had Biff won a second term, he'd never leave. He would try to get biffnation to make his term permanent.

Yea because he's a fascist. This last month has proven that even though most of us already knew it all along. Don't ever want to read "but show us the proof!" ever again. He's a wannabe strongman/dictator who cozies up to other dictators because that is the only thing he respects...authoritarianism.

The Mensa candidates on here who argue that he isn't a fascist seem to think that dictators attain and hold control all by themselves without any help from common folk such as themselves. That is where their disconnect is. "How can he be a fascist when I voted for him without being forced to?!" Every authoritarian needs the mindless drones (trumpers), perceived villian (immigrants), enablers who have something to gain (GOP) and propaganda (right wing media) to succeed. And before they argue that right wing media isn't propaganda....I'd ask them to identify who has continued (and continues) to feed them the lie that trump still could get a second term since the election was called over a month ago.

When this is finally done and behind us, historians will be able to write a side by side of Trump versus Mussolini and see how close we actually came.....

What makes me believe this and also what you say, is the way in which so many Trumpsters project authoritarianism against their opponents....

17 lies, falsehoods, and omissions to defraud the FISC including altering emails. But the email piece aside, what was actually illegal? Doesn’t actually make it ethical or within the spirit of our country’s values.
