As the resident poster who has Alabama as a side team, I’m not surprised that he hasn’t ended up being a star, and I’ve said that all along. I am surprised that he seems to have become a sourpuss if he can’t be in a starring role though. His effort was the one thing that could never be questioned before this year.
Makes me wonder what’s really happening there. Rumors about him having some issues with teammates being at least somewhat true? Pope promised him an expanded role on offense to get his commitment and now he feels betrayed? It’s been weird to see.

I would think that he has been given the opportunity but has not capitalized on it. He has shown he is not that player and needs to do what he can do .
I don’t know whether that's a trustworthy account or not but my hope is the emergence of Kam and return of Jelavic will push Pope to play Dioubate at the as the primary backup to Moreno. Maybe there are games where BG makes more sense but I think a lot of Dioubate's basketball weaknesses can be masked if you don't pair him with another big and instead clear out to give him more space in the paint.

It’s not entitlement it’s straight up bad behavior. A lot of these guys don’t care. They got the money and no one can take it.

He doesn’t deserve many minutes honestly. He has done nothing really well lately and his attitude sucks. We need to run the guys who played the second half of each of the two last games. They played basketball at least.
They have real coaches that demand respect and can recruit guys to come in over the malcontents. We have overpaid divas who know they can’t be benched.
The biggest problem with Mo is that if he is in the game at the 4 or 5 with anybody but Kam or AJ then we have 2 non-shooters in the game and the offense will suck. While JQ is not available, the only place to play Mo is backing up MM with either AJ or Kam at the four.

i still think, in order for this team to maximize their potential (especially with a couple guys out long term), we need to get more out of him.
his numbers are never flashy but that's not his game.
I am starting to realize that our coaching staff picked a few bad apples. These players are upperclassmen and the younger guys cannot speak out against this.
Everyone has told Oweh how great he’s going to be this season and it went to his head. He is not a Kentucky-caliber go to guy.
Aberdeen, Dioubate and Lowe are huge portal misses.
The worst part is that I believe we have a core group of young guys that could really help us next season. Don’t be surprised if Moreno leaves this drama and is playing for Duke or UConn next year.
