It's not nice to lie. Especially when you're a preacher.
Hilarious. I see nobody refutes any of the facts...just one interpretation of "strong arm."

1. Diaco rushes by reporters with only an "excuse me"
2. He gets stuck on a freight elevator for God only knows how long.
3. He finally makes it to the locker room but everyone is gone. The players who hung on the field...showered and gone. The players who gave post game interviews. Showered and gone. Everyone is gone. He was stuck for a long time.
4. Except for Mann. He's there. He's set up all the interviews, communicated with reporters, expects Diaco to speak to the press. And he asks Diaco to go out and do interviews. Diaco said he was told he didn't have to do it and was going to the coaches locker room. (Tuco left this part out above.)
5. Diaco does an interview on Tuesday...and now will do them every game.

Still waiting for a response from you regarding my post. I quoted verbatim what Diaco said and didn't leave anything out.

But you won't even touch my post because it calls into question your interpretation of the facts. I will bump it for you to answer...

Take my exact quotes of Diaco and defend your interpretation that Diaco said "No I don't do that." Also tell us how he strong armed Keith Mann with my exact quote of Diaco.

You are sliperrier than an eel to pin down with how you sidestep specific questions posed to you.

If I didn't know better I'd say you are strong-arming me here...
Bump for Tom, errrrr, Tom's wife.

Just when I think I'm out.....

I didn't leave anything out. You are making this in to some sort of blasphemous act with Diaco pushing his weight around and strong arming people to avoid answering a few questions because his defense played poorly. Diaco explained very clearly what happened. You simply choose to think he is a liar and it doing so have decided to present your version of what happened in a way that makes Diaco look bad. That sir is a you problem.

I don't care that he didn't speak to media, but I'm not really buying the "I was stuck on a freight elevator for an hour and everyone was gone" story either.

To be clear, I'm referring to some of the local sports writers. I just posted in haste.

I figured ;). I don't have a terribly high opinion of the local writers, either. But then again, I hardly read them (get most of my info from Youtube).

Seriously, he said, "I was told I don't HAVE to do post game interviews." That means he could have done them, but chose not to do it. In the end it's the same thing as saying, "I don't do that." Sorry, I wasn't so precise and should have said, "When asked by Mann to go do the interviews Diaco stated, 'I was told I don't HAVE to do post game interviews."

It is kind of like a Preacher doesn't HAVE to tell the truth. Some just chose not to do it. To be more precise, many people have asked you to tell the truth, but you don't HAVE to be honest.

Go ahead and emphasize HAVE, even though that's not at all how Diaco said the word. You make him sound like a petulant little child.

You are amazing.

Those are his own words. I was emphasizing that it was his choice to speak to the press. I answered your question so answer this. According to Diaco's words was it his choice to speak to the press?

He was told he didn't have to, but if he needed to (in other words, if he was told incorrectly) he WAS AVAILABLE, and for KM to come and get him. Something you neglected to share. Why haven't you ever included that part of his quote?

That didn't answer the question. Based on his own words was it his choice not to speak to the press?

I answered the question clearly. He was told he didn't have to. For the obtuse (that means you), he chose not to.

He also said he was available to if he needed to. What more do you want? Again, why are you ignoring this fact in every post you make? Bob Diaco said he was available to do it! Just come get him.

You amaze me... eichorst is a man of his word... he said we have the talent now. Gotta believe it.

Diaco says he was told he didn't have to address the media. What a liar!!!!!!!!!

Now it's my turn to say, l'm out.

Irrelevant. You are attempting to to make the facts something they are not.

Whether it was him that asked Riley, or Riley who brought it up to him, he was told he did not have POST GAME media obligations. The fact that the everyone didn't know is not on Diaco. Even if he asked Riley if he was required to speak to the media after the game and Riley told him no but failed to tell the anyone else that isn't Diaco"s problem. He had no plans to talk to the media post game because he was told he didn't have to. Now if you want to spin it, then spin it but the facts are the facts and the only one disputing them are the media and fans. Riley backed Diaco and I haven''t seen any quotes from Mann that disputed the story. So once again, you are making assumptions and interpreting things to fit what you want the story to be, not what actually took place.

It's nice to run around saying liar. However, I never said Bob lied...not even close. He gives the timeline and he makes the statements. On the contrary I have given him the benefit of the doubt that his words are true.

So now I'm out!

Fine... let me rephrase.

You say that when Eichorst says we have the talent to win now, we have no choice but to believe what he said. No interpretation.

But when Diaco says I was told I didn't have to address the media, his words are open to interpretation. He chose to avoid the media.

Am I understanding you correctly on these points?
