I really hate to hear this! I always enjoyed him as a broadcaster!! He was truly one of the greats! Prayers to him and his family

Sad news, not only a terrific broadcaster but seemed like a genuinely nice man. I am sorry some of you younger folks didnt get to enjoy him calling college basketball on NBC in the late 70s and 80s.

The network struck ratings gold with Enberg, former Marquette coach Al McGuire and Billy Packer. They called the Blue Devils '78 final four games vs Notre Dame and Kentucky. R.I.P. sir....
