Hopes to be back next year. I always liked the guy and his positive attitude. He seems to really enjoy what he does and seems like a genuinely good guy.

I hope his treatments go well and he conquers the lymphoma and vocal cord issues but I’m not going to miss him as an announcer.

I don’t hold any ill will against him. I just think his announcing style jumped the shark several years ago.

In the beginning his excitement and announcing style was infectious but it’s become old and stale. The way he slobbers over Notre Dame, Duke and coaches like Boeheim is just too much as he has no objectivity anymore. It’s now just way over the top inane cheerleader type stuff every game.
