... is it me or is he always trying to start some kind of scandal ... at one time he had an agenda of how UK fans shouldn't hate Pitino, then how we should be ashamed of trying to run tubby off, now how everyone hates Andrew Harrison .... I swear he gossips like my grandmother ... would it be too much just to call the game?

Wouldn't know, refuse to listen to that old one-eyed fool.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Have refused to listen to him since his Tubby rants.

Mike Pratt and Tom Leach FTW.

Every time lyles makes a play or,scores. He say he was once committed to indiana. Who,cares??? I'm sure that's the last thing lyles or his family wants to hear after he just dunked the ball like tonight

During the game today, he would rant on something UK fans complaints and then the game action would demonstrate the opposite of what he just said. (more than once) Made me laugh.

Did anyone hear the comment about the money UK has or something to that effect. I am not sure in what context it was but, he said something about money.

Take it easy on Vitale. He's a good guy who has given many a player positive props. I was sitting next to his family and him in New Orleans at Breakfast during the 2012 NCAA Tournament. People kept coming up to him to get a picture with him while the poor man was trying to eat. He smiled and accommodated each and every fan. He has been good for the game IMO!

Sadly, he is a caricature of himself. Once a proud announcer who offered a great deal to the college game. And yet, the young posters will never know this side of him.

Dickie was never a keen observer of the game (Bilas). Rather he was a cheerleader at a time when the game needed him.

He scorned BBN with the Tubby departure and will never be forgiven although I've tried at times, to. Regardless, I bet he realizes today just what a mistake that was.

The overall body of work will guarantee him a place in sports history.

He always put me in mind of the great "Joe Dean Sr." the consummate cheerleader for SEC sports and UK in particular.

Every thing you just posted is true true. So are the accusations that he is a diminished distraction to the ballgames. And he repeats the same horsecrap about us game after game after.

His time has passed...and I'm old enough to say that without apology since I resemble that remark.

I have Dookie V on ignore. I honestly can't remember one single statement he made during the game. Selective hearing is a talent developed over several decades of marriage to my wonderful spouse.

Like him as a person. Hate him as a commentator during games. On that play where the guy raked Aaron across the face, it took him a couple of minutes to figure out what had happened. Then he tries to say it wasn't intentional. The guy wasn't anywhere near the ball and he actually pulled his arm back to give it more oomph when he slapped Aaron. It was the same kid who was playing chippy all game long.

On top of that he plays favorites with the home team. You can't tell me he wasn't trying to get USC back into the game the entire second half yesterday. They need to do this. They need to do that. One more bucket and it will be single digits and this crowd will go crazy.

South Carolina's best offensive play all day was to lean in to the defender, fall down and flip the ball toward the basket. No one ever called them out on that (which the CBS guys do all the time). They never once questioned the referees in a poorly officiated game.
