So over the weekend I went to see the movie ...... heard some good things from early reviews but still was skeptical because the last 4 movies were just bad movies (visually stunning but bad movies)

Anyone else like it? I've been waiting since the mid 80's and 4 years old for a good live action movie with G1 flare to happen.

If anyone is undecided or was afraid of it being another crap fest like transformers 2-5 ..... I highly suggest over the next few weeks to go out and give this movie a chance ..... Its kind of a soft reboot from the other movies and you can tell the new director is as step up in the franchise.

Saw aquaman instead. Was wondering about this one

All those movies' studios were dumb coming out on the same weekend.... they will probably all under perform now instead of if Aqua man came out a month ago and say Spider verse came out next month.

I really liked Bumblebee, right in my wheelhouse with the 80’s nostalgia.

Had a musical tip of the cap to the animated movie in the 80’s.

I wasn't sure if it was going to be a reboot or not, but it definitely changed some things from the previous storyline. One of the past movies mentioned he was here during WWII and fought with the allies, but he definitely doesn't arrive on Earth in that time period. I am curious if they will continue on with the Transformer series from this storyline now or if this will just be a standalone movie?

Unfortunately, Bumblebee isn't performing well at the movies with all of the competition. I think it was better than Aquaman, but probably didn't get the buildup that Aquaman did. Plus there are to many holiday movies to compete with. They should have waited until like mid January or early February to bring it out. As of now, it looks like it will struggle to break $100 million in the U.S. Not a good sign for any more movies to be made.

The other Transformer movies sucked. All action and no story. Hopefully this movie has an actual storyline.

I have a collection of transformers and marvel figures in glass cases.

I still love what I loved as a kid....... I'm not ashamed of it..... I've also made a bit of money on the internet and ebay buying and selling (unfortunately you have to report ebay on your taxes now and that sucks so I dont make much compared to what I used to. )

I have like 95% of the original Masters of the Universe collection. Waiting for the movie to come out in 2019 to sell them, I figure I'll get more bang for my buck at that time.

Spot on. Adults entertained by actors in tights in front of a green screen. Hollywood has the right formula. The Chinese eat this stuff up even if a movies flops here.

The first 2 minutes of the film were better then the all the live action movies combined. I geeked out at Soundwave who is probably the coolest mother fvcker in the entire line.

Maybe they finally figured out people want movies with the G1 designs they grew up with.
