Posted deep in another thread yesterday:

Not sure if anyone is aware, but Rita has removed the visitors stands. Those were brought over with the move to the new campus from Claremont. I know they were redone with new aluminum bleachers 29 years ago. But now they only have seating on 1 side of the field only. Originally when Doyle stadium was constructed they had seating in the Norrh end zone as well, which I sorely miss...My, times have changed. Used to always be the thing to do, meet up at Rita for the game, now you are lucky to even get 1000 people to come out. Hope that it is temporary and new bleachers will be installed.

Does anyone know if this is true, and if so what are the plans for the coming year? Temporary bleachers being installed? Restricted seating on home side? Half designated to visitors? Total ciaos as fans race to get seats when gates open?

Any insight will be appreciated.

Yes, this is correct, but nothing permanent for this season, obviously.

Going off this past spring news, they were looking at 3 options and they all had the current home stands becoming the visiting side and different designs for the new home side with one option that included offices, concessions and locker rooms. But that might be old news.

I’ll be at the red and white next weekend, I’ll see what the powers that be have decided.

But what about this year? What are the plans for games scheduled this year?
