Diet soda is like nonalcoholic beer, THC free pot and sugar free candy. What's the point?

I drink one or two regular sodas a day and the rest water. Seems better than 10 Diet Cokes.

Want something natural and wholesome, go for a pair of these. Forget the diet.

there is no such thing as "diet" soda just like Marlboro "lights" was a thing. diet just sounds safe and trendy. they should call it " still going to f*** you up but in a different way" soda and it would be more accurate. but that wouldn't be a great marketing strategy. so they attach diet to it instead for fat people. if you are going to do it, do it f***ing right and enjoy life. not everyone wants to live to be 80. screw diet anything

Coke Zero was invented for men since they associate Diet Coke with women.
I read about the development of Zero a couple of years ago. Coke developed Zero as an improvement to diet Coke, not a different product. They assumed that everyone would like Zero because it uses newer sweeteners and is much closer to regular Coke. Turned out that every test group had the same conclusion: female diet Coke drinkers preferred diet Coke, even though it tastes like bug spray. A lot of men preferred Zero but women wanted to keep the old one. All marketing and production plans were changed to make way for a third Coke, just because they knew dropping diet Coke would piss off women.

Diet drinks are for fat losers, or just losers in general.

End of discussion.

(Full disclosure: Since I live in the Mecca of KY for soft drinks, I do drink around 2 Ale-8's per week)

Full disclosure: I "can't" drink soft drinks anymore due to erosive esophagitis. I don't really miss them at all, but did enjoy a Sonic or McDonalds Coke back in the day. Every once in a while I accidentally take a sip of a Diet Coke that my wife has sitting around and it makes me want to puke.

I love Coke Zero, mixed with 10 parts regular, fountain Coke. Besides, everyone with an ounce of brain knows that drinking a diet softdrink counteracts the effects of say...3 Big Macs, Large fries, Choc shake, and an apple pie. I always feel much better about myself when I follow that up with a diet Coke.
