This is worse than last year. Considerably worse.
Need to use NIL to get some big dudes on both sides of the Lines
Dannen needs to step in and personally terminate much of the coaching staff while letting Rhule know that anyone Rhule hires to replace those coaches will need to be vetted through Dannen and several others.
None of it’s going to change. You can’t recruit here. Kids don’t want to come. Mid 3* U!! NIL will help a little but even a 5* QB and a 5* left tackle etc isn’t ever going to be enough.
Its just really tough to win when you hamstring yourself with stupid decision after stupid decision.
Coaching could definitely be better but we need more physical dudes. Our players were spent at half time. Even the best coaching couldn’t do more with the less that we have.
The physical hit on little Barney (should have been targeting by the way) was pretty much the game. All down hill after that.

Unfortunately, it's true. Nebraska is not a school big time recruits are attracted to.
Indiana would disagree that money doesn’t change anything, now if they hire cig 5 years earlier they wouldn’t be anywhere as good as they are now
We haven't been winning enough. It has been declining for 20 years. If you are good player would you come to a place that doesn’t win? We have to win more and the more talent we can get here the better. As the records continue to get better, the better the talent that will come.

Doesn’t matter. We out recruited Iowa EVERY year that we’ve been in the B1G and have lost to them NEARLY EVERY time. It’s what you do with the money that matters, and we have demonstrated that we do not know what the hell we are doing ever since TO left coaching.

I think our skill players have more talent but it wasn’t on display today. The Iowa Defense was definitely more talented than our Defense.

Neb always talked about the facilities. That’s dead. Ours are okay but that’s about it. Recruits don’t mentioned the facilities anymore. Everyone has great facilities.

The Jimmies and the Joes are still not there. The OL actually does seem to have some better players on the roster that I hope materialize next year. I would still get three portal guys. Other than Pietrzak and Nwaneri the entire DL needs to be replaced with NIL. Lots of it.

I would LOVE to see the Rams defensive line go up against Iowa. That cocky SDSU QB would get Millard Southed.
One of our problems against Iowa is year after year. Our "WR room" is better than their WR room. Other positions are similar. But Iowa consistently puts 11 on the field who are better than our 11. Nobody should give a **** if we've got a 2nd teamer with more stars out of HS than their starter.
