Who is the biggest disappointment of this season? I know despite making the playoffs Lincoln Way West & Lincoln Way expected better after the North closing.Mt.Carmel of Chicago will run the Prep Bowl playoff table & come out with a good record not the state playoffs but love the Prep Bowl.St.Laurence lost their QB to graduation but were otherwise stacked on both sides of the ball.Lost to IC was a letdown but then beat a good Rita team then the wheels fell off it seems. They shouldn't have lost any games this year. They didn't look too hot vs Leo either. What is going on?

Laurence almost lost to a 2-7 AC squad last week, tied 28-all at half and down 35-34 in 4th Q before they finally pulled out the win. Thought it would be a blowout win for Larry but AC gave them everything they could handle. Our 5 seniors (4 of 5 going both ways) played their hearts out in their final home game. Was a moral victory for AC despite the loss. How did the Laurence players/coaches feel about that one?

Stl has important kids not playing right now.
True and that has been the case for the past several games. However, all key starters should be back on the field for playoffs and the team, for the first time in several weeks, should be at full strength.

I mentioned in the beginning that it would be more difficult to put the team together than to split it apart...

LWeast Dad.. Very true as the year has played out for all three of the LW schools. Earlier in the season after West had lost two in a row I also mentioned the heavier 7A/8A schedules. West really has beaten no one of substance. LWC until last night probably had overachieved after missing a key player. LWE does not have the same environment to a home game as before and lacks the crowd support of years past. ALL of this is adaptation and will take time to iron out with the multitude of changes this year has brought. Overall I have seen all three LW programs this year and I feel progress has been made in this first year. Congrats to the young men on the field, and the coaching staffs at all D210. It really is a new chapter to embrace.

While we still may not agree on the class issue, I agree with everything else that you say. Well put. When combining players from (2) schools as all (3) Lincoln Way schools did, chemistry is a major issue. I think this goes with the new mix of coaches as well. All three schools will improve on this as each year passes and LWC/LWW players become all LWW players and the same for LWC/LWE and LWE/LWN.

Badfrog.. If a certain QB had stayed with the Warriors? Having a couple of years coaching experience I will offer chemistry takes more than a year for a program to adapt especially under the conditions of the LW district. Parents need to understand as well in order to provide a positive environment going forward. Here is hoping the playoff draws help some.

Playing ESL at ESL will not help LWW this year. Most likely a blowout though the D will keep them close for awhile. A bad draw after a disappointing season (mainly offensively since the D is really good) will not be positive in the short run. Another year and more time together may help the team improve in the long run though.

St.Laurence will have it worse than Lincoln Way West.Sadly I think Richards will get them in round 1 then Mt.Carmel in the Prep Bowl playoffs so 6-5 finish. What kind of season would LWN have had this year if the school stayed open?

Who was out for StL vs Marmion and SI? Richards-StL, GW-Neq, and SR-Aub are the 3 games I have no clue on.
