There’s not a lot going on in UK sports. Tough for every board this time of year.

I was new to Discord but it’s easy to get used to and already some good people over there. Always good to have options and I like that.

If Discord was going that well, people from there wouldn't have to be on Rupp Rafters defending/hyping discord. Lulz.

Again, if you're having to come here to plug Discord, it likely isn't going as well there.

I looked into Discord. Seemed nice but I don't want another app to deal with. That and I saw a couple of folks that used to troll the old board so I passed. But thank you for giving us the option @DraftCat_rivals185658

What in the world man? We set up the discord because we had no solid information on what this transition would look like and figured we had a few days to set something up to try not to lose connection with a bunch of folks we’ve enjoyed chatting with, some of us for upwards of 20 years.

We had a post visible on the old board for 2 or so days before it was turned off and had ~250 folks come over. But it’s a dead period for pretty much all of the popular college sports so many probably didn’t see it. We’ve set something cool up over there and just wanted to give some more visibility to it since a large swath of folks probably didn’t see it.

I'll go wherever the majority of the posters here go.. whether it's the regulars from RR or the degenerates from The Paddock. I'm not opposed to Discord, but this seems like the best option for what we had: similar style forum, it kept (most) of our names, Post count, likes, etc, and by nature, more people will continue to post here because this IS what Kentucky Rivals was. Inherently, it seems like it's going to have the most numbers.

I think I'm out on WN.. too strict for my liking. Some people like that, and they probably would prefer my type to stay over here.. but I got the sense they think Kentucky Rivals is too free, and they wan to control things a bit more.

I used to be on that board during the Tubby and Billy G times. Thinking back, I believe I left because they didn't like people being what they perceived as negative. It was hard to be positive during the Billy G times. I think you'll see most end up back over here. WCN is like being at your grandma's. This place is like being at your local bar.

As I've said on multiple sites think every option can scratch a certain itch.

Discord will be awesome for gamedays or if you just want to jump in and have a quick chat with a UK fan

I think that nails it perfectly. Nothing against them, but id probably wear out my welcome there. I think of this place as exactly that: a bar. Almost anything goes and just dont create literal fights.

The fun thing about discord is the conversations that happen sporadically.

I just brought up Sparks vs. Mich St. where time stood still for 3-4 seconds.

Then that went into would of Izzo did better at UK than Mich. St. He turned us down multiple times.

I signed up on 4 separate boards….it was not a big ordeal. I check them all everyday. I’m sure 1 board will become my go to when the season

starts. I like this board…so far….it’s nice NOT seeing the posters, who chronically hate each other, fighting and posting here. Yet.😊

Being on all 3 boards, no much going on with any. My guess is as we get closer to football season we will see some pick up, but since football has had issues for a couple of years now, we might not see huge numbers on any of the 3 boards for football. Come basketball, I think all 3 will do good. Hopefully all 3 have good numbers. I know on gameday I will not post live on 3 boards, have to try each to see what I like the best. But for me, I will post on WCN for sure and some here. Just not sure about discord as my 60 year old ataxiated brain is having issues with the discord site. But trying to give it a fair shake as well.
