The invite link expires. If you're a discord admin you can make the link not expired. There should be a setting you can turn on. Now you have to provide a new link or no one can join.

I'm still trying to figure out why so many nervous bellies left RR. What changed. It's still free and I had no trouble getting here.
On3 literally had no free boards until this. Confidence this board stays free isn't very high. Confidence in staff to announce any changes in a fair manner, not very high. Confidence in technical team to keep this running smoothly? Not very high. Since we were left in the dark with wtf was going to happen, many of us moved to a platform that won't be affected by the whims of a serial entrepreneur. That platform has forums, real time chat, other fun stuff we're doing with bots, we're streaming historical games w/ live voice chat. Should be more fun overall.

Yeah but I dont really see the reason to jump ship just because they *may* make it a paid model. Of course, if they do, id be out as well.. but ill at least wait until that happens.
Its also been pretty stable. Some accounts got borked, but so far the forum works exactly the same. Theres a few things that dont work as well, but theres also a few things that are better, such as ability to upload pics from your phone.
Are folks still using Discord and the other forums? We have most of the political/paddock posters here, but RR seems a little light. Still, this seems to be the spot where most of RR posts, and thats kind of whay im looking for.
We have a decent little group that keeps the discord busy. I still think it's going to be a hit on gameday but we will see.
I'm definitely interested in gameday on discord. Seems like thats sort of more what Discord is good at as opposed to forums. My problem is that its so hard to focus on the game while also chatting about the game and laughing at terrible JFCats midgame meltdowns.
I like the vibe at the discord. Seems a little more personal and tight knit so far.

I've found it easier to chat on discord during a game like the TBT Tournament than refreshing the forum to see new posts.
