Love the Wolf
Outstanding Performance. What a band.
a Friend sent me a note, another of the Jordan Brothers has passed away, only one left.
Another of Schuylkill County’s famous musical legends has passed away.
Lewis “Lew” Jordan Sr. died on Monday, according to his obituary published in the Republican Herald newspaper. He was 74 years old.
Jordan is best known to the public as one of the four Jordan Brothers. Lew joined the Jordan Brothers (with Frank, Joe, and Bob) and performed weekly for years at local dances that nearly everyone of a certain age in the coal region has attended. These dances were held at Willow Lake, Lakewood Ballroom, and Lakeside Ballroom.
In the Jordan Brothers, Lew played lead guitar, vocals, and composed music for the band.
Frank is the last one left

It was Janis Joplin's birthday on Wednesday, so I'll show her a little love
It's Steve Perry's birthday today, so I'll post a few songs that feature him.
Today is also the birthday of the legendary Sam Cooke.
