I do. I'm tired of watching games with no prestige, which have no impact in recruiting, and thus no real value to OU. In the years that we have played them when they were ranked, much of it was due to an overall weak conference. I said in another post, I want our competition strong to make us stronger. OSU is not a rival. Even though it is their national title. For us, it is just another member school we must plow on a yearly basis. This sounds arrogant but the actions of the administration are in agreement. If OSU were critical, they would find a way to get them into the SEC.

I don't. I realize its a lopsided rivalry but losing it would be a disappointment. Unfortunately it would probably have to be played in the beginning of the season which would be weird.
The "Bedlam" game has a deceptive label given the historical domination (90-18-7) of one team, but it does represent a game in which OU has not much to gain in winning and a lot more to lose in losing.
I would prefer the rivalry continues, but since it's out of my control, I will be indifferent however the scenario plays out.

Not sure The Citadel is on OSU's level.
OU has a 9-2 record over the past 11 years, but six games have been very close and two were OSU wins.

OU going to Stillwater is OSU's only complete sellout of that year. Of course they want to keep it. Remember the lengths that OSU went to to keep OU fans from getting tickets--making them buy 3 for 1 game, and then making them buy full OSU season tickets just to get the one OU game in Stillwater? and last but not least remember them closing "walk up" ticket booths so OU fans couldn't get tickets on game day. The work OSU put into keeping OU fans out of their stadium has been at the very least interesting.
A lot of major programs do that as far as season tickets it's hard to buy single game tickets at some schools.
90-18-7 tells you that any issues concerning Bedlam football (the sport at which the original question was centered) were decided about half a century ago.
It's a no win deal for OU. Sooners win--great, one more win in the most one-sided series in history. Sooners lose--we get to look at bumper stickers, t-shirts, etc. ad nauseam. Saw a guy at an OSU basketball game wearing a "Kick It Again, Bob" a couple of years ago for a game that was played in 2014.

Who cares about OSU? They have never been a good rival. In the big 8 we had two rivals in football. Texas out of hate and Nebraska for the rights to the Orange Bowl. Since then it has been mostly just Texas. Good riddance.What say yOU

I hate to see Bedlam go. I'm old enough to actually have slight recollection of the days before OSU joined the BIg 8, and Tulsa was an OSU annual rival.

It means a lot more to OSU than to OU.
OSU wins and it is their Super Bowl. OSU loses a close game, it is as good as a win.
OU wins, it is one of 10, 11, 12 etc wins. OU loses, they are having a down season. No different than losing to KSU, ISU.
Just another CFB money grab of removing of great rivalries from OU's legacy.

Bedlam has been pretty competitive, actually, for probably 25 years. They havenāt won many of those but the majority were close games. I do think some on here have an arrogant outlook on this.
Yeah and so was Tulane. I think our arrogant stance is more to do with there is nothing to gain by beating OSU. No prestige, no recruiting one-ups, etc. Even when they are ranked no one really takes them seriously. Just like Texas Tech 08. It is a must but no win game for OU. Let them hate their Tulsa neighbors instead. My .02.
For me leaving that dumpster fire Conference also means leaving everthing in it behind as well. Gonna have plenty of new teams and likely new rivals to hate real soon.
