Does a healthy Baylor team take down Clemson?

Clemson would destroy Baylor. Oklahoma pushed Baylor around on there home field Oklahoma had more size than Baylor. Baylor would look like midgets compared to Clemson. Baylor would have a better chance playing the zone read option plays that they used against North Carolina. Like it or not Oklahoma was the best the Middle heavy Big 12 had to offer

Baylor doesn't have anywhere close to the players Clemson has. This Baylor team wasn't significantly better than the team that lost to Michigan state last year or the team that got spanked by Central Florida. Baylor is having there best year recruiting year ever if you look at there recruiting classes since we have been members of the big 12 they mostly average in the high 30's Clemson gets top 10 classes

The Clemson D is highly underrated imo....it would be one heck of a game with both sides healthy...Briles vs Dabo is a matchup in and of itself....

Clemson has the 8th ranked defense they have size and speed they would beat Baylor like a drum. Oklahoma physically dominated Baylor in the trenches Clemson would beat em worse. The game wouldn't be close

I think briles is a good coach don't get me wrong I just think the disparity in talent is too great. Clemson routinely gets recruiting classes in the high teens to top ten. Baylor gets classes in the mid to high 30'. The talent Clemson has been recruiting was on display tonight those defensive lineman where monsters they dominated OU on both sides of the ball. I actually think that stoops did a good job keeping OU in the game as long as did they where outmaned. Baylor currently has the 12th ranked recruiting classes which is much better than what they recruit historicaly

it could break the trend but usually Good offense/Bad defense type teams don't play for the championship..I read that 25 out of the last 26 years both teams in the championship game had top 20 defenses.

Baylor likely would have played a better game than the injured OU team that lost yesterday. The way they crushed UNC--a team Clemson struggled badly with shows that a healthy Baylor likely would have won a game against Clemson by double digits.

Of course, if the referees were going to let Clemson's dbs run into and tackle Baylors receievers as they did OUs without any pass interference calls like yesterday, then it may have been difficult for Baylor to win also.

Clemson Crushed the team that crushed Baylor on their home field. Our you the same person as Punish-eer? Sure sounds so you make same excuses as him. It sucks to have to argue with the scoreboard.

Baylor does not have the beef to stack up with the best of the top teams. They have plenty of skill players but not the beef to protect them. I do not see Baylor getting the linemen that they need and keeping the skill talent that they need.

Baylor beat NC because the Tar Heels were totally unprepared They thought they could just walk in the stadium and win. And it did not happen.

Baylor 49-38 11pt win over UNC. Record breaking rushing output and Baylor without QBs. Game never in question for Baylor
Clemson 45-37 8 pt win over UNC. Clemson not missing any QBs. Game went to wire.

Baylor with their starting QB would beat Clemson soundly, as could a couple of other BIG 12 schools

Well Baylor Lost to Oklahoma by 10 on their home field so i guess by your logic Clemson would probably beat them by 3 Touchdown in Waco. Baylor would probably have a better chance at beating Clemson with the QB they had against NC running zone reads with the QB. Baylor does not have the Beef on the O and D lines that Clemson has. Baylor has some good skill position players but there O and D lines are undersized and would get mauled by Clemson. Stop trying to argue with reality. Every good coach will tell you that excuses are for Losers

They took UNC behind the woodshed with their JV team.

Thoughts?
Clemson's best D lineman was out, along with their best receiver and they toyed with OU like a cat with a mouse. The QB was 3rd in heismann voting, anyone thinking Clemson would lose to Baylor is delusional and doesn't know football. The 2 best teams are playing for the championship.........The UNC team was not prepared to play Baylor, bad coaching.....Who would not want to play for Dabo.

A game between Baylor and OU in midseason form--and where Baylor's starting QB was injured, is not indicative of UNCs last two games-- a beatdown by Baylor with no QBs and a down to the wire game with Clemson. Baylor if healthy could rout Clemson.

As to OU, not only did they have multiple key injuries last night (both RB's as an example), they were also jobbed by the refs on a key no call pass interference when they were marching for a score down only 23-17. That no call changed the complexion of the game.

Pathetic excuse Oklahoma beat Baylor on 11-14-15 not exactly mid season. If you gave Art Briles and Gary Patterson a choice as to what team they would rather have between Clemson and their own they would take Clemson's superior athletes to their table scaps any day. You know absolutey Nothing about football

Wait and see how many players Baylor gets drafted. It will be a bunch.

If Baylor's starting quarterback doesn't break his neck they would have won the Big12 and probably the playoffs.

No way Alabama and Clemson have much better players than Baylor just look at the recruiting classes those school get. Wvu has a better 4 year average than Baylor does since we have joined the Big 12

Bingo! Bango! Bongo!

Also Baylor has been missing their top Lineman all year essentially as I recall...somebody help me out here with a name.........

You will look back four or Five years from now and see that what NFL talent Baylor has will be pale in comparison to what Clemson has

What has held Baylor back past few years? Their defense.

This year, they finally had a decent defense. An elite defense? Nope but a respectable solid defense. If their offense playmakers were healthy, they would be tough to beat for any team in the country.

Clemson would beat Baylor. I'm surprised OK didn't play better but a healthy Baylor wasn't beating Clemson.
