a GoPro Hero camera? If so, what are your thoughts and opinions. Considering a GoPro Hero 4 Silver since it has the LCD screen. I've read complaints about the Session that you don't know what you are capturing....

Thanks.

I've got a Hero 3. Great little cameras. Perfect for water, SCUBA, etc. But I've even used it to record other events, where I can lock it down and just let it record continuously.

I have the Hero3 silver, and love it. Used cheifly for diving, and compared to the old JVC HD with TANK sized housing I still have hidden away somewhere, well...it blows it out of the water lol. Wifi, all kinds of apps and attachments available either through GoPro or aftermarket offers limitless possibilities even for the older generation cameras. Mine is missing the LCD screen which was a pain at first, but I am used to it now for the most part. And the housing that came with it has a flat dome port rated to 120 ft which cleans up the edges underwater as opposed to the 1&2 gen cameras...
I'd suggest you go Hero4 with the screen. Not sure what they are worth as compared to the latest gen cam's but likely significantly less, and having the screen will make things easier from the get go...amazing technology in that little camera! You definitely wont regret the purchase imo.

I believe this may be what you are looking for Priddy... taken at Tiger Beach Bahamas with a Hero3...look for the hottie in the white bikini (she won't be hard to miss)...she mesmerizes me...Roberta Mancino. Just dynamite....
