I think there is a pretty good chance. On Duke’s TOS their insider once said Duke was in the drivers seat and now isn’t sure they can get an in home visit. Earlier this week he said if Duke doesn’t get that visit in the next week or so they will have to move on. Also said he would be pleasantly surprised if it worked out for Duke.

Agree but in this age of incredible uncertainty in college basketball I think RU fans are right to be wary until the two of them are in scarlet, on the court, game 1.

This couldn't be further from the truth. He's a die hard RU fan. I've sat next to him at RU games and celebrated RU's win over WSU with him and other RU fans in Seattle. He was even trash talking WSU fans a bit after the game too - in true Jersey style.

In the “old” college bb world (before NIL) , I would be sooo pumped but in reality we have 17 months before Nov ‘24 to see who is actually wearing the RU laundry. So, all the chatter and optimism is just “all talk” considering 17 months is a long way to go and only one big time donation away that would sweep the dream away. It’s a shame but it’s the reality of the “new” college bb world.
