Does anyone think that having the BJC match on a Monday night makes any sense?

Not good for those of us who live out-of-town. I'd have to take two days off work. Horrible for school age kids on a school night (homework, activities, bedtimes). Bad idea, Pat Kraft. What was he thinking?

I agree. It’s a head scratcher. I went to matches there in the mid-late 90’s that weren’t very well attended and it was awful. I don’t understand the logic here either.

Pretty sure it had to do with THON and then how late the schedule came out leaving no other weekend open that had home dual meets.

Why not 2/2 vs. Ohio State? A Career Fair? Move that to Rec Hall…

Why not 2/2 vs. Ohio State? A Career Fair? Move that to Rec Hall…
As someone who organized his (Fortune 50) company's efforts there for 10+ years: the career fair is extremely cramped at BJC. That's with employer booths throughout a bigger arena floor, a full concourse, and a bigger auxiliary gym; and with a fully accessible loading dock.

Rec Hall cannot accommodate 150+ companies plus 3000 students-- and where are the employers going to eat, at Waring?

So if you really want to have it there, then you need to significantly cut the number of employers ... which kinda undercuts the university's reason for existing.

Wasn't all this discussed when the schedule came out?

it was. The link I provided above is to the discussion that took place after the preseason PSU media availability day. We also discussed it when the schedule was first released.
