does Luke Wright coming here effect Stephen Johnson possibly signing?

No, Luke Wright is a walk-on. He will have to sit out next year anyway.

Johnson can play right away and will be a scholarship player. Johnson will come in as a junior.

I didn't think walk-ons had to sit out a year. Thought it was only scholarship players.

Seems as though their are cases if he was not recruited by the team,not sure how it works.

Somebody close to Johnson said that this isn't an issue, and they expected it. Followed it up by telling JRow "I would have done the same thing" by getting a transfer and going after Johnson as well.

Wright coming to UK will not affect Johnson or Barker, ergo this action will have no negative effect on the program.

this kid is on career path with coaching i believe. i mean no disrespect to the young man cause his tape makes it clear he is a football player and tough as nails but his release looks way beyond crazy. i swear the ball doesn't go where it looks like he's throwing it. im hopeful that this kid is smart and a good teammate and helps the other qb's learn the system because if he starts a game for us the next few years something has gone wrong.

I don't think so. I think it's more of a, "We currently have one scholarship QB and will only have a true freshman to back him up in the SEC" type of effort.
