Seems like this might be good cover to quietly exit, or join the Ivy League. At least it's been a while since the last Carmody kerfuffle.

You've turned into IGNORE. Congrats.
Even IGNORE has his good moments. I really want to see NU Basketball turn into Duke (well, not the actual Duke), it's just that I've been waiting for that since 1961. At least in 1963, NU was #1 in the nation in football, and then has cracked top 25 several times since then.

It's not going to happen. Duke has been Duke for a LONG time. Like since the 1950's.

And NU isn't going to leave the B1G. Too much money and prestige for the lone academic institution in the conference. NU will have the odd good year in men's hoops amidst continuous bottom third finishes. Deal with it or become a Dookie fan.

I don't want to be a Dookie fan, but we have a Dookie coach, so where is the Dookie? I am NOT criticizing Collins, I think he is doing a good job. It's like NU Basketball needs to exorcise it's demons, somehow. I don't know, what will that take?--it's been a very long time since we were even at an Ivy League level, which is, off and on, pretty darn good.

I think it's more realistic for NU to become the Dook of football. Despite last season's blip (after several good ones), with the Taj Fitz I think there's much to favor the football team in the long run.

It's moving in the right direction, fellas. These next two recruiting classes could be a long term program changer if the dominoes fall the way we want them too. And in the first time in forever, there's actually a tangible possibility of that happening.

This year we will have the same record in the dance as all the supposed top teams

...the sky is falling, the sky is falling... Sheesh. We have a lot of young talent. The future looks bright. Self quarantine until November. All will be ok
