It actually makes less sense now haha. Because to start, this team blows and he certainly could find minutes here (where as he couldn't last year), plus we are finding out that Pope runs such a loose ship that he could kind of do whatever he wants in the game..

Perry didn’t have much respect for Pope. Seems he saw this train wreck coming. Now It seems others don’t respect him either. That (and money) are why he left.

I don’t see the relation one to another. Perry only transferred when we started adding a bunch of guys. I’m sure he saw he wasn’t getting PT, simple as that.

Seemed very odd at the time. Of course the conventional wisdom was he saw the “writing on the wall” but maybe the words written there weren’t what we thought.

Maybe Im conflating things here in my misery.

I am late to this chat, and I have not read all of the responses, but Perry was not good enough to play here, period and its time everyone accepts that and stop making more out of it than it is. Just because he is from KY doesn't mean he belongs. I mean no disrespect to him, I am glad he sought out what was best for him
