Does Samia have to sit the first half next week ?

An Ejected Player sits the half following his Disqualification...So sitting the second half, today, satisfies that requirement. If he'd been ejected in the second half, then Yes, he'd have to sit the first half, next week. That's the way the announcer explained it. Not sure what determines if he's charged for a half, or for an entire game...Glad that his absence didn't make that much difference in this game...
That's a good thing as we'll need all hands on deck for a Championship run...
I saw on twitter where #88 was spitting on Samia, that's why he went crazy.

It was a pitiful call on Samia. #88 of WV was holding him down and Samia was struggling to get up & to get #88 off of him. .
West Virginia was cheap in the first half yesterday. Dana Holgorsen should be ashamed of his team. If my high school kids even came close to acting like his did yesterday, they would run until I threw up. I guess they figured since they couldn't beat OU, that they would see if they could get anybody thrown out of the game.
Why is throwing a punch at a fully armored football player even worth an ejection? The only thing you're going to hurt is your hand.
That being said...we've seen 2 weeks in a row now that teams realize they can get under our players' skin and draw Unsportsman-like penalties. Lincoln better have some spirited discussions with the players and have them start ignoring the bait.
Even after all the melees, the WVU players were still pushing our players in the back after the whistles, often right in front of an official. No flags on WVU. So of course they just kept on doing it.
