Last year Louisville lost both of their starting safeties, Petrino came on board at the very end of December very beginning of January and they went out and got Sample in that amount of time.
Once again Louisville has lost both of their starting safeties and Louisville became aware both were going pro at the very end of December, beginning of January.
So does Louisville need to go out and find a high end JC safety that can come in and play right away? If not that would mean that the coaches feel that they already have enough talent and experience to handle the position with only the talent already in the program. I believe Clemons is expected to be one safety. That leaves the other still unclaimed as well as one other corner spot (spot opposite of Wiggins). Plus Louisville needs proficient players to back up each of these positions.
Louisville has brought in 5-6 JC's so far, all at other positions (OL, WR, RB, DL), does Louisville need to do the same at S now that Sample has left or does Louisville have enough talent and experience already in the program?
