Not at all. During football season, first thing she asks when trying to plan something or reply to an invite to an event is whether UK has a home game or not. Doesn't really care about going to a game herself, which is fine since I have season tickets with my dad and that's kinda our thing.
Every now and then, something comes up that leads to an exchange which involves her mentioning she wished we could do random event, but she understands that we bought season tickets. I generally ignore the undertone that maybe, just maybe, I should pick random event for once and instead lean on the fact that the tickets are already paid for and in hand.
It usually works out well for us since we're just talking 7-8 Saturdays a year. Of course, the downside (if you can call it that) of having a wife that is understanding and aware of the football schedule is that you'll inevitably be obligated to things that fall on away game weekends. Home games are an easy "out" for things you don't want to do, but it kinda leaves you exposed and fully unarmed when there isn't one. That said, I'll gladly hit up some things I don't really care about in exchange for having someone cool with my fandom.
