Same time every Saturday night the dogs know they’re going with me to my buddy’s house, who also owns the same breed of dog. I don’t have to do anything. They just seem to know what day it is and what time it is and they get hyper as hell and run back and forth between me and the door waiting for me to put my shoes on. Always been amazed how they seem to know it’s their time to leave the house.

Mine is a lab/pit hybrid. Got the pit size and the lab personality(got lucky there lol. He’s got web feet like the lab n loves to play fetch. Took him with me to Walmart one day. Left the window cracked n car running. Got back to the car n the windows down n dog is gone. I have no voice due to cancer yrs ago so I can’t call him.
Here I am in Walmart parking lot n have no idea where he’s at and I can’t call him. Stated looking for him n finally at the corner of the parking in the edge of the grass there’s my dog-bowed up takin a big ole dump. I proceeded to go to him n let him finish and got him in the car like it was a daily routine lol

Everybody at TSC, Lowe’s, Goodwill, my bank and DQ know him by name and if I go without him I get a lecture. DQ gives him a “pup cup” of ice cream each visit n it’s all I can do to keep him from going in the drive thru window. The others have treats for him.
Sorry I rambled but I love my dog

By the way he’s in my avatar pic

My dog can be completely asleep on the floor. Eyes closed, slight snoring, totally out of it. I can then start saying some gibberish, and she doesn't move a bit... nothing... continues sleeping. But then if I say, "Wanna go for a walk?" she springs to attention and runs over to the door. Amazing to me that she "hears" that while totally asleep. I guess she really isn't "totally" asleep.

My dog is that mix. Got him at the pound. Best damn dog I've ever had. He's a lap dog, basically an 85 pound baby. Great with our son. He's got webbed paws but hates to swim. He goes out on the lake with us but refuses to get in.

I adopted my Beagle Roscoe from a shelter. All the other dogs had beds except him. The lady said he tore up every bed they gave him. He tore up everything at my place but I eventually childproofed it. He was not yet housetrained so I barricaded him in my kitchen while I worked. He jumped over the baby gate so I put chairs and pillows like 6 feet high to keep him in. Every day I would get home and he would be sitting on my couch.

If you leave a car door open for longer than necessary in my driveway, my dog will get in. He's always ready to ride.
My dog Norman likes to go for a ride in my truck almost every night. We have to go around the neighborhood or it doesn’t count. He insists that I drive (my wife tried taking him a few times and he cried until I came).

Lol. Elvis doesn't care who is driving or what vehicle. He just loves to ride. He tried to jump on my Harley with me one day.

My dog couldn't care less about me - his loyalty is only to my wife. I could be murdered in front of him and if my wife wasn't in the room, he'd forget about me and go looking for her instead.
