We have a Mini Schnauzer that is so funny. If she is lying in my wifes lap, which is where she usually is at, she just wants to lay there and not be bothered but if she is in my lap she wants me to lay her on her back and rub her belly. My wife can try it and she will jump down out of her lap and huff at her. 🤣

We just got a new puppy - 8 weeks old labradoodle..:first time with this breed

Big footed clumsy puppy that moves around as agile as a B1G post player

Two other doggies are mutt mixed little dogs part chihuahua/part shitzhu and part terrier / parts unknown

They hate the new little guy of course

I honestly didn’t know that litter mates could have different fathers - live and learn

DEFINITELY seeing a higher “train ability” factor with the new one vs the previous two

Dogs are pretty wonderful and almost entirely non-controversial
I have a F2b male Goldendoodle and a F1b female Goldendoodle.........there is seven weeks between them.....they are above average in trainability........don't believe the, "don't shed" bull crap......mine are about 31/2 yrs old and I am still vacuuming hair.......my male was house broke in less than a week........I got up every night a couple of times with the female....for maybe a year......they are all different..........I didn't realize the grooming aspect for Doodles.....after three years of clipping them every four weeks I understand completely now..........

Our puppy may be the best thing in our lives. No kids and up to 2 cats and a dog. Want to get another puppy so he has a buddy. Dude runs our house at this point and neither of us care to stop it.
The best thing we ever done was to get our puppy a friend.....there is 71/2weeks between them........I was walking the first puppy 4-5 miles a day and he wanted to play fetch as soon as we got home.......best and smartest thing we ever did......we are empty nesters and the dogs changed things around here.....

Brandi can’t be trusted right now

My oldest is 19 and ready to move out
shes dating a kid from winchester that she wants to marry - wants to move back to Arizona too

the youngest goes to UK this fall and plans to be in the dorms year 1 and leave the house as quickly as possible -also wants to live elsewhere

so her MIND is operating on early empty nest syndrome — and she’s LOCKED onto a monkey as a substitute ...she doesn’t even realize what she’s doing

and im GENERALLY scared of all monkeys, baboons, chimps, gorillas, ferrets and wasps - FULL BLOWN RUN YOUR *** OVER TO
EXIT THE ROOM TYPE PHOBIA

annnnnnd — all my women think it’s funny or that i’m joking or that ...i won’t OFF the little bastard and make it look like an accident

Shes like telling me how they sometimes fly around the kitchen and put things up in the cabinets...or how they can “Sense Your Emotions” better than other animals — how “cute they look in DIAPERS” .....WTF kind of reasoning is THAT??????

If they can lock onto my thoughts then they’ll KNOW i’m disgusted by them and maybe there’s an attempt to tear off my face or genitals

THEY DO THAT STUFF YOU KNOW

So a monkey patterning with a dog to use a cart , wagon , or any other instrument is just an abomination, man — THE MONKEY SHOULDN’T MIX SOCIALLY WITH THE DOGS FOR GODS SAKE — WTF!!??

i’ve gotta go shower and log in for work now
But i won’t be at ease
She's been watching too much Monkey Dodo on Facebook.......they only show the fun stuff with their monkeys.......they don't show them getting out of the cage and destroying the house.......even a tiny monkey can take your finger off in the blink of an eye.......

ain’t that the damn truth

AND she still thinks...i need to be called over to physically watch the monkey porn WITH her - cause - EVERYONE loves that scene ....

good glory

ain’t nobody got TIME for that

i’m thinking about touching the THIRD RAIL and tell her i have shared all the details of her chimp lust WITH my Catspaws associates—- AND EVERYONE agrees it’s a wildly dangerous and wreck less decision

more on that later

i’m wondering what other life decisions i can outsource here now maaaan

On Day 2 with #2. She's a little lightening bolt. Keeps trying to bite #1's peepee and he has no idea how to deal with her. No idea what she is yet but looks like a little short and stocky. Gray coat, white belly and mark on her face and overall a hint of brown. Will try to post a picture later.

We have a Golden Doodle who is a little over a year old. He is a great dog. Really needy and wants affection, but well behaved and great around our kids. I am sure he will tame a bit once he is fixed.

This was our first time with this breed as well. Our beloved chocolate lab passed at 13 in 2019...Father's day, right in middle of early COVID stages...sucked.

Based on the physical description coupled with the mauling of the peepee, I think you got yourself a pitbull mix. Congrats!

That is really strange AWF, ours doesn't shed at all....zero. He is jet black too, so we would see it.

It has been great too. I used to brush my lab and take so much hair during the summer it would fill like three Kroger plastic bags full.

Mine really don’t shed at all either. The older larger one did begin minimally shedding when I put her on an arthritis med last year but that has kinda lessened over time. As you said, nothing like other breeds tho. Not even close.

The extensive grooming thing with them is legit tho. I have a place that bathes them every week and a groomer that comes over every 4-6 weeks. Their curly hair gets tangled and nasty if they aren’t groomed on a regular schedule.

Yeah, we actually took ours in today. Definitely a costly part of ownership. With our lab I went outside with a hose and some soap :)

I have had dogs that shed. You are constantly vacuuming. My golden doodle loses his hair, but it is nothing like the dogs I used to have. Heck, look around my bathroom and see who “sheds.” :)

Kind of depends if the curly poodle hair is more dominant. Mine has wavy hair, rather than curls, and it is really very easy to manage. Not much work at all. We keep it relatively short in the hot months.

My Fb2 Goldendoodle male is turning from black to silver..........he was three last August.......he has really wavy, soft hair.......they say they stop losing puppy hair at three..........my F1b Goldendoodle female is a dozen shades from light beige to red....she has real coarse hair that it is hard to get through if she goes 4-6 weeks without being clipped....she was three last October.......she gets in the swimming pool and when she gets out she shakes a couple of times and is almost dry......it is hard as hell to bathe her.......it's that water dog hair......these are the first dogs to live in the house with us.......I understand they don't shed like normal......but they do she(d).......I was thinking the puff balls of hair every day would end.......it hasn't............

when I typed the word shed my fingers said, "she"........🤭...............I feel your pain brother.......

That will be an active little critter. Better be prepared for a couple walks a day.
They say a good dog is a tired dog. I had a boxer (now deceased). We walked an hour to two hours every day. She loved it and it was healthy for me. Also a walk is a great way to bond with a dog. It serves as part of "the hunt" to them.

Don't mistake malice for guilt.

Those two are constantly picking at each other. One Saturday a while back, one of them found a plastic strawberry in the backyard (guess it blew off of a wreath etc.) I can't remember who brought it in, but the battle over ownership lasted half the afternoon. Over a PLASTIC strawberry.

Olive prevailed...

Learn how to read renob, trashing breeding styles just so suburban's can have a dog that doesnt shed is weak.

Maybe you should do some research before you talk. You seriously sound silly. I read your comments and yeah you are taking a stab at me and the breed too.

I've bought dogs from pounds, pure breeds, cross breeds, etc. They all have health issues. I lost a lab to cancer. Lost a golden to a rare bladder cancer. Had to put down a dog from a pound due to aggression. GD's average lifespan is as long as most all other breeds and longer than some.

Our GD so far is great with our children, not aggressive and just a bit needy. Yeah, he doesn't shed, that's a plus...not gonna lie but certainly isn't "why" we bought him.

Well never heard a doodle described as “smart” breed. Pretty dogs that are good family pets.

my sister has one that may rival her kids for her love and she describes him as “smart enough”.
