All of us are fed up with it. I think the only reason most people don't do anything isn't out of fear of being canceled or labeled, its that they don't want a Civil War to start. I think all of us might lean one way or the other but are generally not nearly as far out as all of this crap.makes us think. And I think most of us know this on some level so everyone holds back hoping this storm of stupidity blows over. But they keep chipping away. I really hope it doesn't come to that for this country. Cooler heads and common sense need to prevail.

Very brave of that administration to do what they did to protect the integrity of the flag and anthem. And I really like their response to the criticism (that folks need to find a different way to rally people to their cause, one that does not divide people).

An overwhelming majority of this country believes in equality. Only an extremely small minority does not, and even fewer would willing to admit it. But when you kneel for the anthem and make your own black national anthem, all this does is divide people. i really don’t understand how segregating the anthem is supposed to unify people.

At what point will it be ok to be proud of the country you live in? All this kneeling, riots, looting, its ridiculous. 99% of the world is trying to get into America and our younger generation will walk over a baby to burn the American flag.
We're dealing with he most spoiled, self-entitled cry babies this country has ever seen.
How can you feel like this and blindly support the guy that’s coaching our basketball team?

The only reason this stuff is permitted to continue is the adults capitulation to children. Enough. The worst part of it being the coaches who are disingenuous about it and just do it in order to appease kids so they can recruit them. The whole thing is rank to high heaven.
I agree. I will not watch on TV or attend a UK game until Cowardpari is gone.

Yes, the country is full of cry babies, especially the ones crying over an election they lost! I'm so sick and tired of complaints just cause your side lost a freaking election. Get over yourself. People are just so entitled in this country! And then you got the whiners about the so-called cancel culture. No one cares cause Twitter bans you! It's a private company. If you violate their terms of service, then you're banned. It's not rocket science. Go start your own Twitter company if you don't like it. What a bunch of whiners.

People been protesting for centuries. It’s just in different ways. Go to any college campus and you will always find some sort of protest. Chris Jackson used to do this same thing abd did it without much fanfare. Quit taking what an 18 to 21 year old college student does so personally. If you’re true to your word about defending the Constitution then you should support anything folks do when they exercise their right to peacefully protest. A lot of people pay way too much attention, media included, to what these kids do. Move away from it. But quit your bitching. Bluefield College did what it thought it had to do. Do I agree with it? Doesn’t matter.

The key part of this current SJW environment is the mindset that you cannot disagree with them. "Speak your truth", "believe all women"....for example UK and Cal were terrified to push back on the Rupp name thing. Feelings, buzzwords, label/cancel anyone that even hints at even trying to add context.

And the fact the same group that has rapidly increasing positive views of communism (that killed 100m last century) is also the ones saying the anthem is offensive because of America's shameful past.

Says the person who belongs to the party that launched a 3 year fake investigation into Russian collusion, all because you couldn't accept the election results. Hypocrit much???

Real patriots storm the US Capitol and beat cops to death and replace the US flag with a Trump flag. LOL at you frauds.
The difference is conservatives/Republicans have condemned what happened on January 6th. Lefties like you didn’t utter a word of condemnation when Antifa and BLM were terrorizing cities for months. And if Trump had won, what do you think the reaction would have been from your fellow comrades? Cities would still be on fire, you fraud.

Being called a racist is intended to keep the pot roiling. This started 50 years ago in Chicago and pro commie/socialist's could not sustain the revolution. They became the hard core of the environment movement, packed the univ.'s, courts, school boards. We were to busy to pay attention - we ( the working class heroes) need more wokeness. I found we had a Zen meister running in our school board! Start calling out all the nonsense.

I keep hearing phrases like "speak your truth" and "this is America" .Kap himself said that he asked a navy seal about his protest of sitting during the national anthem .Even said that he didn't want to disrespect the American flag .The seal told him that kneeling was a sign of respect.
He said that you kneel for fallen comrades, you kneel to ask your girlfriend to be your wife. Everyone has the right to express themselves and the one guy that tries to be respectful about it is vilified .
The hypocrisy of people getting mad at someone for kneeling while they sit in a recliner at home while the anthem is playing .I truly wonder how many people stand up at home while the national anthem is playing .Just saying...

the issue here is "Kap" asked one person and made a decision (if this is really true) and then when he knew it was creating controversy he continued. That excuse is a cop out.

He also wore socks that had pigs in cop uniforms, so I'm not certain respect is the angle he's going for.

“After hours of careful consideration, and even a visit from Nate Boyer, a retired Green Beret and former NFL player, we came to the conclusion that we should kneel, rather than sit, the next day during the anthem as a peaceful protest. We chose to kneel because it’s a respectful gesture. I remember thinking our posture was like a flag flown at half-mast to mark a tragedy.”.

Snopes

I don’t know about the other crap but Irespect his initial decision to kneel
