Quite a unique talent. What gets me is his shtick was basically insulting people, and yet he never got in trouble with the P.C. police. It almost seemed like he was immune due to the equal-opportunity insulting of everyone. He somehow brought us together by exaggerating our faults.

Episode of The Tonight Show from 1976 was shown last night. Sinatra was primary guest, Rickles made a surprise appearance and tore Frank down. Also gave it good to Carson and McMahon for good measure. Fantastically funny guy.
