Dent is worth a "Whoomp, there it is" as opposed to a traditional boom.
That would about as good of a portal start that UK could hope for.
You lock up the top portal guard and the best defensive big in the portal.
Hopefully we lock up Dent by tomorrow, right before we take down Tennessee. Would be the most exciting few days for UK fans since we heard that the Harrison twins were returning.

I just scrolled through his "following" page and didn't see anyone UCLA affiliated among them. No one UK related either, really just a random assortment of people, some basketball related some not. Probably mostly former teammates and coaches

Ahh, the portal days of the spring. As happy as I am UK is still playing, hearing we could be getting a stud transfer soon is definitely exciting.
KSR was wrong about so much portal info last year it was hard to keep count.
But they haven't said "Dent to UK" which is what YOU said. They simply said "UK has contacted Dent" HUGE difference.
Also, what players did they say was UK bound and didn't happen ? Not recruiting, but stated UK landed them ?

I’m not sure the guys we got last year were on the tip of anybody’s tongue until moments before they committed.
There are certainly players it will be helpful to our ends to acquire. I’m not about to conflate wishful thinking with certainty. The staff will see things in players that we miss. I did not anticipate Butler and Oweh to be as good as they ended up being offensively, for example.
I’m going to try and not get swept up in the thrills and what ifs inherent within the dreams that lie within uncertainty. I trust the staff and will root like heck for any player on the roster next year.
