Usually, the reverse happens. A President starts out with all kinds of good will and over time, his approval rating starts to drop. Trump started out quite low at only 45%, but after his first week, it has ballooned to 59%. Must be doing something right.

President Donald Trump has been struggling with approval ratings in the United States. A recent Gallup poll showed that only 45 percent.
