I think we are actually getting better! Alabama and grats teams play great defense. We have made strides with our interior passing and making it look easy. Very balanced scoring today. The twins especially andrew has been great today. Running the court like a general.

Yep... looks like we are playing even more as a team. We had a stretch there where we fell in love with the three and forgot to pass and distribute the ball and work inside out. Now we are working inside out, passing well, spacing out well on offense, and putting the ball in the basket at an efficient rate. Threes come within the offense rather than being forced. Not to mention the interior passing! Then you flip the script and the defense is as good as ever. They went out there and forced Alabama to take tough shots late in the shot clock. Every time you do that then you are going to have a lot of success. I don't see many, if any, teams beating us if we bring the energy and focus that we did today.

I was very impressed.

I expected us to beat Bama, but they play physical D, so I figured it would be a single digit or perhaps low double digit win. We dominated almost from the opening tap.

It has been fun to watch us grow and develop.

Agree, W2R. The offense looked SO much better today. Spacing was better, passing was better, especially inside. I loved the execution...there were only a handful of possessions where we looked a little out of sync, but you have to give Alabama a little credit on those.

We are definitely moving in the right direction. Which is funny to say for a team that's 17-0...lol.

Just don't see anyone in the SEC beating this team.
If Arky was on the road....maybe..

Guys we are running the table in the SEC.

At South Carolina will be another test but we will be ready for them after last yr.

17-0!!!

I had worried that we'd have a let down today.

I will admit that I thought we might lose.

I'm not too smart!

I think this team is really listening to Cal. I think a few games back, he mentioned the need to get the ball inside more and return to playing defense. They did that today. I saw one or two bad plays all day today by the Cats. Nothing to complain about at all.

Credit to Bama for the 5-6 min stretch to open the second half. They played some solid D, but the Cats responded. Huge win on the road.

We still have @SC, @FL, @LSU, @UT and @UGA.

I agree, but a lot of landmines still on the road potentially.

IMO, these are our five most likely remaining possible losses. I put them in order, with a strong emphasis on "possible":

1. @ LSU
2. @ Florida
3. @ USC
4. @ UGa
5. Arkansas

I'm just gonna keep saying it til you guys tell me to shut up. It's all about the defensive intensity. If this UK team plays defense the way they're capable of playing, they're gonna win big most of the time.

Today's good offense just made a solid win into a blowout. Defense first. Then offense. Nobody would have beaten UK today. Nobody.

I feel the same way, we looked much better the last two games but I was more impressed with this win than the one against Mizzou. This was on the road against a seasoned team that plays solid defense and in a place where we have had tough luck recently. I really was impressed with the way we attacked the zone in the first half. We were patient against it and moved the ball inside out constantly and ended up with baskets from both areas. We were struggling against the zone not that long ago and I think we have finally figured it out pretty well. Going to take a great effort for someone to beat us but I know the road can supply surprises. My pick for our toughest road game is @ Georgia. That one bothers me a bit. Fox will have them ready and they are a pretty good squad.
