People on here acting like everyone has done the ultimate disservice to Mark Stoops and his family because they discussed this rumor are living in fantasy land. When you are a major college coach making millions you are going to have both your own fans and rival fans attack you. Hell this is would not even register against what Coach Cal gets all the time. The biggest difference is Cal does a great job, Stoops does not.
Here is advice I give my employees, if the rumors aren't true then don't worry about it. it's just jealous people. Start to worry if they are true
If there is any blame to be laid other than the orginal source of the rumor, it is the fact that Barney the clown could have easily have issued a statement saying the University has heard the rumors and we do not have any knowledge of this and are not currently investigation any such allegations.'
This lack of statement would be very telling normally but I wouldn't take anything from it because this is Barney. He is inept so the suspicion will continue.
