Doucore doesn't have the height (He is 6''7" probably, not 6'9") nor the hops to play the 5 at this point against B1G teams. Hopefully he can adjust to the 4 and start hitting 15 footers consistently.
Exactly - no way he's 6'9" and he's not long, like Myles.

No he has only played in 6 of our 12 games. He qualifies for a red shirt if he doesn't play any longer this year.

Resetting Doucoure's eligibility clock with a redshirt makes sense...looked very slow most of this year vs last year.

With Doorson a senior, and Duke injured, it makes all the world of sense to redshirt him, we’ll need some mins from him next year.

If he doesn’t transfer, it makes sense to redshirt him this year. He’ll still have 3 years of eligibility left and if he’s willing to work hard on his game he can be a good contributor for us in future seasons.

At the same time, notice that Pikiell said he doesn't know how long Doucoure will be out for... (if a redshirt is the plan, I don't know) but someone else gets hurt or Duke is needed, Pikes can still bring him in.
