I know how much this board loves Gottlieb, so you'll probably all be disappointed to know his coaching career is off to a rough start. He somehow convinced UW-Green Bay to let him keep his full time radio job while also being the head coach.

Well, he got called out by Schefter on Twitter this week.

Then his team played DII Michigan Tech at home today. Earlier in the week he called them "Nobody U" and implied they would win by 20.



Well, they lost to Nobody U and now sit at 2-11 on the year. Very disappointing and I hope he can pull it together because we all know he's such a good guy.

I have no idea why on God's Green Earth he decided to go coach. Man was making bank with his radio show. Why....just why?

If he truly wanted to be a coach he would have gave up the radio show but it is obvious he was afraid he would fail so he did not want to give up his radio income.

Little more context. He didn't attack Gottlieb out of nowhere. Douggy Boy insinuated Schefter was lazy when Gottlieb himself made another wrong assumption and was the ahole who instigated this.

Yep. Prime bulletin board material there. Doesn’t help when your team only has 2 wins as well. Should have been more focused on preparing your guys to play instead of smack talking the opponent. Learned the “Talk Sh*t, You Get Hit” lesson the hard way.

I don't get it. I'm sure it's of similar quality to like Poland Spring or something.. but it's like $3 for a tall can of water. Can't put the bottle cap on, doesn't taste any different than any other bottled water.

Yup, I always crack up at people who pay a premium for water. Like in the end of days sure. Water is valuable but to buy $5 cans or bottles of it right now… ehhhhh.

He’s as bad as I thought he would be. I know it’s hard to win at Green Bay but come on a D2 school?
